Summer Salad & Dressing

Say hello to your new summer salad and dressing! I scrounged up this dressing the other day and it was so delicious I had to share! It took me all of 1 minute to make so that's awesome! No to mention the tart cherry juice in this dressing has so many health benefits.... head over to my instagram post to read about all the benefits!

T h e S c r o u n g e

If you don't have these exact ingredients, Scrounge with the things you have at home and you may end up creating something even better!

  • If you don’t have greens, use quinoa

  • If you don’t have strawberries, use any berry blueberries, raspberries or blackberries

  • If you don’t have nectarine, use a peach, orange or plum

  • If you don’t have avocado, use crumbled goat cheese or do without

  • If you don't have cucumber, use bell peppers, tomatoes or do without

  • If you don't have Ellas Flats crackers, use Everything But The Bagel seasoning or mix of sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and pumpkin seeds or choose one

  • If you don't have tart cherry juice, use red wine vinegar or raspberry vinegar

  • If you don't have maple syrup, use honey

  • If you don't have lemon juice, try orange juice or lime juice

I n g r e d i e n t s

Greens (i.e. arugula, kale, spinach, romaine, etc.)





Crushed up Ellas Flats Everything flavor

Sea salt & pepper

Fresh parsley (optional)


1 tbsp tart cherry juice

1 lemon juiced

Splash cold filtered water

Pinch of Himalayan salt

Drizzle of pure maple syrup

D i r e c t i o n s

Add all salad ingredients into a large bowl.

Add all dressing ingredients into a medium bowl then whisk together until well mixed.

Pour dressing over salad and toss.

Any leftover dressing does not need to be stored in the fridge.
