Hey there, I’m Jenna!
Most days you can find me...
in yoga pants, drinking matcha or a green juice, listening to a podcast or music and snuggling with my Golden Retriever, Cashew. I’m a wife to my handsome husband, Tyler, and a devoted puppy mom. I’m Holistic Nutritionist, entrepreneur, a homebody, but also a lover of travel, avocado toast connoisseur, a dancer, a foodie, an OCD organizer and always trying to push myself outside of my comfort zone. I believe we all have a mission and purpose in this world and that mine is to serve others through what I’ve learned through my personal experiences.
I am mostly known for…
Scrounging – using only the foods I have on hand to get creative in the kitchen – my love of food as medicine and my sense of humor, I love to laugh!
People often refer to me as…
NeNe (my middle name is Renee), Jenna Insane… that’s a story for another time!
I love serving the world by…
using my personal life experiences with stomach issues and with loved ones who have experienced cancer, to educate women on the power of taking a holistic approach to their health to prevent chronic illness.
The things I am most passionate about in life are…
Food!, authentic and loyal relationships, good conversations, sharing things I love, skin care, human connection, health and disease prevention.
I help women…
who are looking to eliminate their chronic stomach issues without medication.
I am lucky to give them the gift of health…
by teaching them how strong their body is and how it has the ability to heal itself if given the right tools and the right environment to thrive in.
As a Holistic Nutritionist I’ve been featured in…
Lux & Concord Women We Love, Lifelong Podcast, AFPA Grad of the Month, Raw Guru guest author, The Connective featured expert and Wellness Advisory Board.
When I’m not busy working you can catch me…
doing yoga, playing tennis, traveling with my hubby – my favorite trips we’ve ever taken are South Africa and the Maldives – exploring new restaurants in the city, spending time with friends and acting like a kid again with my nephews and niece.
If you’re dying to hear more, here are six things you might not know about me…
I was a Private Chef for professional athletes in Chicago
I have a tattoo
My husband and I lived in London for 8 weeks together in college (prior to being married) and got to travel all over Europe
I’ve swam with sharks
I worked in advertising for 9 years prior to going full time with The Scrounge
I can recite almost every line to F.R.I.E.N.D.S! I’d consider myself most similar to Monica
