If you don't have these exact ingredients, Scrounge with the things you have at home and you may end up creating something even better!
If you don't have fresh spinach, use fresh kale or frozen spinach or kale
If you don't have frozen mangos, use frozen mixed berries, frozen cherries or double the pineapple
If you don't have frozen pineapple, use frozen mixed berries, frozen cherries or double the mango
If you don't have a date, use 1 tsp or maple syrup honey
I n g r e d i e n t s
1 frozen banana
1 handful of fresh spinach
1/2 cup frozen mangos
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1 date
hemp/chia/flax seed mix (optional)
1 scoop or 1 tsp spirulina
water - start with 3/4 cup and add as needed, less water if keeping it thick if eating as bowl
Toppings:
blueberries
smashed raspberries
cocoa nibs
Other suggestions include: unsweetened coconut flakes, sliced banana, nut butter, granola, etc.
D i r e c t i o n s
Add ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until smooth.
I would suggest adding the water ands spinach first so that the spinach blends well or you can even blend the water ands spinach first before adding in other ingredients to ensure there are no chunks of spinach.
Pour smoothie into bowl and add desired toppings.
