Classic Avocado Toast

Nothing too fancy here, simply the way I love to make avocado toast! It truly is the most simple, delicious meal and great way to get in those nutrients! I do my best to add as many veggies as I can to this toast. And don't forget the best part, lemon juice, it really just takes this toast to another level! Enjoy!

If you don't have these exact ingredients, Scrounge with the things you have at home and you may end up creating something even better!

  • If you don’t have bread, use a tortilla or a baked sweet potato

  • If you don’t have tomato, use just cucumber

  • If you don’t have cucumber, use just tomatoes

  • If you don’t have lemon juice, do without

  • If you don't have Himalayan salt, use sea salt

  • If you don't have greens, do without can use any greens like arugula, spinach, romaine, kale, etc.

I n g r e d i e n t s

*makes 2 pieces

sour dough or gluten free bread

1 avocado

1/2 -1 tomato

1/4 cucumber, without skin

1/4 lemon juiced

himalayan salt


greens (optional nut recommended)

smoked paprika (optional)

chia seed/hemp seed/flax seed mix (optional)

D i r e c t i o n s

Toast bread.

Spread/mash 1/2 avocado on each piece of toast.

Top with greens, cucumber and tomatoes.

Squeeze a little bit of fresh lemon juice on top.

Add salt, pepper and smoked paprika if using.

Sprinkle a little of your super food mix on top if using.
