If you don't have these exact ingredients, Scrounge with the things you have at home and you may end up creating something even better!

  • If you don’t have almond butter, use any nut butter

  • If you don’t have cashews, use any nut or seed like almonds, peanuts, walnuts, sunflower seeds, etc.

  • If you don’t have dark chocolate, use any chocolate you have

  • If you don’t have sea salt, use Himalayan salt or do without

Cut a slit down the middle of the date if there isn't already there but still keeping the sides attached.

Fill the date with almond butter in middle.

Chop up raw cashews and sprinkle some on top of almond butter.

Melt chocolate chips in a bowl in the microwave in 45 second increments until melted (it took me 2 times).

Optional: place stuffed dates in freezer for about 15 minutes. If you don't have time to do this you don't have to., just makes it a little easier to dip the dates, but it's not necessary.

Dip the stuffed dates in the melted chocolate until fully covered.

sprinkle some chopped cashews and sea salt on top of melted chocolate.

Place in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
