Whenever I buy blackberries in our house, we eat the entire container in a day, we all love them!!
So I've been wanting to making this for awhile and finally had some blackberries to do it with.
It turned out so good and it was so easy, just one extra step outside of my normal matcha routine!
I will definitely be making this again and may try another version with raspberries!

Ingredients:
2 tsp ceremonial grade matcha - I use LAKA Matcha powder (code “LAKAJENNA” for discount)
2 oz filtered water
1 scoop of collagen powder I use Organifi (code “SCROUNGE” for discount) (optional)
1 tbsp coconut butter - I use THIS one
Splash of vanilla extract
1 cup nut milk - I use homemade cashew milk
1-2 tsp Pure maple Syrup or honey
Pinch of Himalayan salt or sea salt
1/4 c organic blackberries
handful of ice
Directions:
Smash blackberries in bowl with the back of a fork. I suggest cutting them in half first so they don't splash on you when you smash them. Set bowl aside when done.
Place sifter on top of a blender and pour matcha powder through it. You will need to use a spoon to move the powder around to get it through the sifter.
Add filtered water to blender with matcha along with all other ingredients except for the blackberries
Blend until smooth and frothy, about 20-30 seconds
Pour smashed blackberries into the bottom of a tall glass
Add ice to cup with blackberries
Pour matcha mixture from blender into cup over ice and blackberries
Use a wide mouth straw to drink this so the blackberries come up
