A little more about me... 

Hi, I’m Jenna! Most days you can find me in yoga pants, drinking matcha or a green juice, listening to a podcast or music while walking around the city of Chicago, and snuggling with my Golden Retriever, Cashew. I’m a wife to my handsome husband, Tyler, and a devoted puppy mom. I’m Holistic Nutritionist, entrepreneur, former Performance Chef for professional athletes, a homebody, but also a lover of travel, avocado toast connoisseur, a dancer, a foodie, an OCD organizer and always trying to push myself outside of my comfort zone. I believe we all have a mission and purpose in this world and that mine is to serve others through what I’ve learned through my personal experiences.

 

I truly have fallen in love with health and taking care of myself. This passion stemmed from many of my life experiences, one of them being my love of dance. Being a dancer throughout college during my four years at Miami University of Ohio, I began to take much more interest in my health and fell in love with the concept of using "food as medicine". Since then, my love for holistic health has remained a constant in my life. What topics are covered in The Scrounge Gut Reset? 

We’ll take a holistic approach to healing your gut,  so we’ll work on the mind, body, and spirit connection, so things like stress, sleep, movement and food. These are the KEY to getting our body in balance! 

 

Will I have to take supplements? 

I do recommend a few supplements (less than $100 investment) that will help promote healing in the gut, they are not meant to be on forever. My goal with supplements is to have you on the least amount as possible and to get your vitamins, minerals and nutrients from food and lifestyle as much as possible. 

 

What if weight loss is one of my goals, is this something I can expect from this program? 

While weight loss is not the goal or focus of The Scrounge Gut Reset program, it is definitely a byproduct of living a healthy lifestyle. I’ve had several clients lose weight doing my program simply because of the healthy lifestyle changes they make.

Yes, but not in the traditional sense. This nutrition plan is specifically designed around healing the gut so it will incorporate foods that are known for their healing properties and foods that help to reduce inflammation.

You’ll have the option to do this, but it is not required.
