Very Berry Smoothie

I love making smoothies and each time I Scrounge one up they seem to each be slightly different based on what I have in my kitchen at the time. This one is particularly refreshing and very simple. Enjoy!

T h e S c r o u n g e

If you don't have these exact ingredients, Scrounge with the things you have at home and you may end up creating something even better!

  • If you don't have mixed berries, use whatever berries you have or use frozen cherries

  • If you don't have almond milk, use water, or any nut milk

  • If you don't have banana, use half an avocado

  • If you don't have almond butter, use any nut butter

  • If you don't have chia seeds, use hemp seeds, flax or do without

  • If you don't have protein powder, use a Blender Bomb or do without


I n g r e d i e n t s

Frozen mixed berries - strawberries, blueberries, blackberries

2 cups unsweetened almond milk

1/2 frozen or fresh banana

2 tbsp almond butter

1-2 tbsp chia seeds

1-2 scoops chocolate protein powder ( I like Ora plant based protein powder)

D i r e c t i o n s

Place all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. Adjust the amount of almond milk based on how think or think you want your smoothie.
